VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Nonprofit Advocacy & Information Liaison

Help strengthen the Paradise Center and support our mission!

 

The Paradise Center is looking for a volunteer to serve as our liaison with the Montana Nonprofit Association.  This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys staying informed, communicating ideas, and helping make a difference in our community.

 

As our liaison, you will help keep the Paradise Center informed about issues,
resources, opportunities, and developments affecting Montana nonprofit organizations. You’ll also help ensure that our organization’s needs and perspectives are heard.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Read the monthly Montana Nonprofit Association newsletter and identify information relevant to the Paradise Center.
  • Participate in a monthly one-hour Zoom meeting with the Montana Nonprofit Association.
  • Share the Paradise Center’s needs, concerns, and perspectives during those meetings.
  • Provide the Paradise Center Board of Directors with brief updates summarizing important newsletter information and meeting discussions.
  • Work with the board to identify opportunities, develop plans, and help put those plans into action.

 

Time Commitment:

Approximately 4 hours per month.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

Someone who:

  • Is interested in supporting nonprofit organizations and community development.
  • Is comfortable communicating ideas and advocating for organizational needs.
  • Is organized and enjoys keeping others informed.
  • Can participate in a monthly virtual meeting.
  • Wants to make a meaningful contribution without committing to a large number of volunteer hours.

You don’t need previous nonprofit experience. An interest in helping the Paradise Center grow and succeed is what matters most!
